Royal Mail are one of the best-known and largest delivery companies in the UK. They have a strong reputation as a reliable national service provider and household brand name.
As part of a larger overhaul of their intranet and internal systems, Royal Mail required in-depth analytics of user behaviour and feature uptake. The aim of the project was to provide new and updated systems for staff, with ongoing reporting to stakeholders regarding how their platform was being used. Additionally, live data was to be published on the intranet system for internal use.
We worked closely with Royal Mail’s development team to provide consultation on the best methods to implement tracking and analysis. Google Analytics was selected as their preferred digital analytics tool. Following discussions with various teams, we planned how users and behaviours would be tracked through custom events, goals and segmentation. Technical support was provided during implementation with assistance given to publish live data on the internal website through Google Analytics API.
