This is a strange topic to write about as our blog is usually an area dedicated to digital news, updates and changes at Herdl. Unfortunately, we’ve been a victim of an impersonation scam and we felt it was best to put something out on our site to confirm that this website and person is not affiliated with us in any way.
The scammers are using our branding, information and reputation to trick people into a fake employment scam – from the information supplied by other victims, the scam is recruiting people to carry out work and then pay in and receive back cryptocurrency in exchange.
Please do not engage with these scammers and report them to your local authority.
The offending site is found at:
herdlsub (dot) com
and we know the scammer to be operating using this number:
+1(312)278-5061
We have reported the scammer and website to:
- Google Safe Browsing
- Microsoft Security Intelligence
- to their domain registrar for abuse
- DMCA takedown
- JobsAware
- ncsc.gov.uk
- FTC
- IC3
- Scamadviser
In addition, we’re encouraging anyone who contacts us to report this scam to their local authority – and to reaffirm, this scam has nothing to do with Herdl Ltd.
We hope if you’re reading this then it’s helped you avoid falling victim! Please reach out if you need more information.
