The Herdl team are really pleased to announce the launch of the new Angels by Day website!
Angels by Day are a Montessori nursery with two locations based in Nottingham. Their two stunning sites offer children an unrivalled nursery experience and their unique approach to learning has earned them Ofsted Outstanding status.

Fi, who owns and manages the nursery, approached us to design and build their new website as their old site had simply become a bit tired and outdated. While the old website displayed some beautiful graphic illustrations, it was around 10 years old and in desperate need of an update.
Our web design team worked with Angels by Day to produce a stunning concept. The brief was to keep the website looking modern and clean yet capture the nature of the nursery by retaining Angels by Day’s personality.
This was achieved by utilising the imagery Angels by Day had available while working with a playful palette of colours and soft typefaces. This, combined with calculated balance of whitespace and more muted tones, enabled us to create a clean/modern look that was still friendly and inviting.
As a “brochure” style website, the main objective for the site was to act as a shop window for new parents while providing important information for existing ones. Therefore, functionality consisted of improvements to usability and more subtle visual effects. Particularly, you may notice the smooth AJAX page transitions that provide a more “app like” feel and the elegant cascading effect in the gallery.
