I’ve recently been on the hunt for dictation software, simply to make life a bit easier when writing articles and documents. I was surprised to find there wasn’t as many applications available as I thought there would be and the actual quality of most (free) tools was very low.
During my search, I was interested to find that Google Docs provides an in-built “speech to text” tool called Voice Typing which I’ve tested and happy to report works really well.
Obviously, this technology is available in many other Google products such as Google Voice Search and native Android applications as well as the keyboard.
